2012 Group Classes Logistics
- Individuals must register for classes and pre-pay.
- Cost includes menu sampling, class and recipes.
- Doors open 15 minutes before class time.
- Class starts and ends on time.
- Teacher demonstrates how to cook the meals.
- Cancellation/Refund Policy: Up to registration deadline: Full refund. After that, no refund under any circumstances.
Location: Jelleff Community Center - 3265 S Street, NW, Washington DC 20007. Blue doors to the left, then downstairs.
Date: Wednesday evening and as scheduled.
Menu: Varies each week. Fish may be included in special classes otherwise vegan — includes vegetarian protein, whole grains, and seasonal vegetables. Special classes on soups, appetizers and vegan desserts.
Class size: Classes limited to 10 students—Register early! (Six people minimum to have the class.)
Logistics:
Public transportation: Wisconsin Avenue 30 Bus Line; Georgetown Safeway stop. Nearest metros: Tenley town (Red Line) or Foggy Bottom (Blue and Yellow)—you will need to connect to the 30-bus after, going south on Wisconsin from Tenley Town or West on Pennsylvania Avenue from Foggy Bottom.
Driving: Check with MapQuest. Parking on the premises.
