Cooking Class Philosophy

Our goal is to teach participants how to prepare simple and delicious meals for healthy living in a way that is compatible with your everyday busy life. This is why each class is organized around our unique teaching methodology, which focuses on designing a menu and breaking down its components so that the entire meal is produced in a manageable amount of time.

In each class, students learn to plan and cook a meal that includes appetizer or soup, vegetable protein (bean, tofu and tempeh), grains, seasonal vegetables and dessert. The level of complexity of the meal varies with each class, depending on its length. Special classes include cooking for the holidays, vegan baking, appetizers specials, party foods.

Classes are open to all levels, whether you are a novice or experienced in natural foods cookery. There is ample time for questions and discussion. Students also learn how to adapt meals to meet various health and dietary restrictions. All products used are organic as well as animal, dairy and refined sugar-free, (except where otherwise indicated). All desserts are vegan.
