Wellness Workshop Description

Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Help Seminar with Kathleen Kane

Jin Shin Jyutsu ® Physiology-Philosophy is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. The art had fallen into relative obscurity until the early 1900’s when it was “rediscovered” by Japanese scholar Jiro Murai. By meditating and utilizing simple finger holds, Murai experienced the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu and cured himself of a life threatening illness. It is in this respect that Self-Help is perceived as the birth and core of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help workshop engages you in Self-study. By developing awareness of the life force within you and how you can harmonize it by practicing specific hand and finger positions and, combined with breath work, you can easily become more engaged in maintaining your own balance, health and happiness.

This course includes: A History of the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu; The Harmonizing flows; The ‘Jumper Cable’; The ‘Safety Energy Locks’; Fingers, Toes, Palms & Soles; Simple ‘First Aid Flows’.

Kathleen Kane is a teacher of the Self-Help Seminars, a 19-year full time practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu as well as the coordinator for yearly seminars held in Reno, Nevada.

In addition to the workshop, a special dinner and introductory lecture on the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu will take place on Thursday, August 12. Dinner by Juliette and lecture by Kathleen Kane.
